The production team of MBC drama series The Moon that Embraces the Sun which received the ten million South Korean won (about $8880 US dollars) bonus reward was having a collective dinner to enjoy the reward.
On the evening 7.30pm of February 17th, 2012, all of the staff crews and the cast members of the drama series gathered at a restaurant in Uijeongbu to have a lively dinner.
Kim Soo Hyun, Han Ga In and other actors and all of the production team were present. The young actors who starred at the beginning of the drama, Yeo Jin Goo, Lee Min Ho, Kim Yoo Jung and others also attended the celebratory dinner, the atmosphere was warm.
Although the shooting schedule is very tight, the actors have only the Thursday of the week for a rest, so the dinner can be considered an opportunity for everyone to gather together and relax. With the support from audience and high popularity of the drama, the mood in the party was happy.
The Moon that Embraces the Sun achieved the high rating of 18.0% on its debut episode, while on February 15th, 2012, the rating hit the highest ever record at 38.4%, becoming the most popular drama of 2012. Therefore, MBC rewarded the entire production team with 10 million wons.
