The Wednesday and Thursday drama series of 3 major South Korean TV stations premiered on the evening of May 30th, 2012 on the same time. In the new round of viewership ratings battle, KBS 2TV drama “Bridal Mask” come out on top, beating “I Do I Do” and “Phantom“, becoming the first winner of the new round of Wednesday and Thursday drama ratings war.
According to recently released data from ratings research company AGB Nielson, “Bridal Mask” aired on the evening of May 30th, 2012 recorded the viewership rating of 12.7%, ranked at first place among all three new Wednesday and Thursday drama series on the night. “Bridal Mask” is adapted from the same-name comic by famous Korean cartoonist Heo Young Man, and began filming from February this year. The months of best quality production and exciting plot inherited from the original comic won many praises for the drama.
MBC romantic comedy “I Do I Do” ranked at second place with 10.5% rating, while SBS drama “Phantom” come in last with 7.6% rating.
