The Moon Embracing the Sun Inches Closer to Cross 40% Ratings

MBC TV’s Wednesday and Thursday drama series The Moon that Embraces the Sun breaks its own highest ratings record again, inching a step closer to break through the 40% ratings mark.

According to recently released data from AGB ratings research company on the morning of February 3rd, 2012, the episode 10 of The Moon that Embraces the Sun broadcast on February 2nd, 2012 achieved the nationwide average rating of 37.1%, increased sharply by 2.6% from the previous day rating of 34.5%. From the rising trend of the drama’s ratings, it’s only a matter time for the ratings to exceed the 40% ratings mark which is boundary to be known as an epic drama series.

Affected by the popularity of The Moon that Embraces the Sun, the other two dramas broadcast at the same time have their ratings stop at single-digit. SBS’s Take Care of Us, Captain rated 7.5%, while KBS 2TV’s Wild Romance rated only 4.5%.
