The Moon that Embraces the Sun Ratings Exceed 20%

MBC Wednesday and Thursday drama The Moon that Embraces the Sun has exceeded the 20% mark for its ratings, sitting comfortably at the throne for ranking among dramas aired at same time slot.

On the morning of January 12th, 2012, according to AGB Nielson Media Research, The Moon that Embraces the Sun broadcast on January 11st, 2012 rated 23.2% for national average, an increase of 3.3% over last episode’s 19.9%. And the ratings are still on the rising trend, while the total viewers for the drama alone is more than the combined total of viewers for two other dramas, SBS’s Take Care of Us, Captain and KBS2′ Wild Romance.

The Moon that Embraces the Sun Moon tells the pathos palace court romantic love story between fictional king of Joseon Dynasty, Lee Hwon and shaman Wol (Yeon Woo), and it’s starring by Han Gan In, Kim Soo Hyun and Jung Il Woo.

On the day’s episode, then young Hwon meets with Yeon Woo again, and they’re going to have triangle love with young Yang Myung.

Dramas broadcast at the same time, SBS’s Take Care of Us, Captain and KBS2’s Wild Romance are getting ratings of 9.4% and 6.4%, respectively.
