Girls’ Generation member Kwon Yuri was giving a pleasant response about the acting duel with fellow group member Im Yoona.
Hwon Yuri is challenging acting in SBS new Monday and Tuesday drama series Fashion King. In the drama, Yuri is playing the role of fashion designer Choi Anna, competing with Love Rain starring Yoona at the same time slot.
On March 14th, 2012, when Yuri attended the production press conference of Fashion King, she said, “It’s an interesting situation.”
Kwon Yuri said, “In acting, there is a lot of things and experiences that can be shared with friends. Can talk together, encouraging and supporting each other. There is no consciousness for competition.”
“It’s good if audience watches Fashion King, but if audience switches channel, there is also SNSD appears, but from our point of view it’s good. Hope that both of us does well.”
On the other hand, Fashion King starring Yoo Ah In, Shin Se Kyung, Lee Je Hoon, and Kwon Yuri premiere on March 19th, 2012.
