Choi Kang Hee who acted as Nol Eun Seol in SBS Wednesday and Thursday drama Protect the Boss has been praised by the drama’s action director (stunt coordinator). She is the secretary to Ji Hun who is played by Ji Sung.
The stunt and martial arts director of Protect the Boss said: “Unbelievable, Choi Gang Hee can beat 14 rouge gangsters with just herself in the first episode.”
During filming, the director told Kang Hee to act naturally the scene of fighting 1 vs 14 based on his interpretation of idea, and he would guide and modify the acting which is not right. Just like that, trained for 1 hour and 3 hours. the training finally finished after 4 hours. The action director told her: “Kang Hee, you can go back now.” But Kang Hee still has a little dissatisfaction on her performance, and wants to train a little bit more. So there was a better fight scene.
The later fight scene between Eun Sul and her father, Choi Kang Hee can act very natural too. Stunt director praised Choi Kang Hee is not less skillful than professional action actors. In this regard, Choi Kang Hee said that in her past career as an actor in the drama, there is not much action scenes, so she wants to learn more about action scenes in Protect the Boss.
