On May 1st, 2012, Ministry of Gender Equality & Family (Minister Kim Kum Lae) expressed the concern for the youth policy when celebrating the “Youth Month” in May. In order to raise the level of participation, and to show the cordial and bright image of the youth policy, actors Lee Min Ho and Kim Yoo Jung were specially appointed as the youth ambassador.
The two actors have become popular and well-loved by general public and same-age peers for their passionate and excellent performance in MBC drama series “The Moon that Embraces the Sun“. Their image of cordial and bright is ideal as the good image for youths, and is also very good fit with the image of the youth ambassador.
The ambassador appointment ceremony for Lee Min Ho and Kim Yoo Jung will be held on May 2nd, 2012 at KimKoo Museum & Library during the commemorative launching event for the “Youth Month”. They will put in efforts to publicize the youth policy introduced by Ministry of Gender Equality & Family, becoming the models in promotional posters, starring in the CF video, and attending various ceremonies and activities and other programs.
