The PD of popular MBC drama series The Moon that Embraces the Sun, Kim Do Hoon, returned to the scene to continue the filming on the evening of March 6th, 2012, as such the last 2 episodes of the series will broadcast normally next week.
The final 2 episodes of The Moon Embracing the Sun that was originally scheduled to air this week were canceled after the director joined the union strike rally, MBC was replacing the time slot with special highlight episodes of The Moon that Embraces the Sun as a temporary measure. A crew of production team said, “Director Kim Do Hoon returned to the set on the evening of March 6th, 2012,” bringing the good news of the comeback of director.
Director Kim Do Hoon announced on the morning of March 6th to join the MBC trade union rally, but after taking into account the busy schedule of the actors in the next film, CF and other projects after the end of the drama series, he restarted the filming of the TV series on the evening of March 6th, 2012.
A crew said, “Although director Kim Do Hoon decided to return to the shooting scene, but it does not mean that he gave up his previous position,” suggesting that he will rejoin the rank of strike after finishing the grand finale of drama series.
The episode 19 and episode 20 of The Moon that Embraces the Sun are to broadcast on March 14 and March 15, 2012.
