Lee Seung Gi is well received in his role as the arrogant South Korean prince Lee Jae Ha in MBC TV drama The King 2 Hearts. On march 28th, 2012, production team released several stills of Lee Seung Gi attending the WOC (World Offices Congress) in military uniform, the handsome and capable style attracted the attention.
In the photos, Lee Seung Gi was wearing a military uniform appearance, salute to the camera, showing the style of the king. In episode 1 and 2 of The King 2 Hearts, Lee Seung Gi mostly appeared with the attitude of fiddling around, and even made Ha Ji Won angry to tears. In the stills released, Lee Seung Gi shows a rare solemn look, raising the expectation of audience to the broadcast of new episode.
The scene was completed in a set on Jeju Island on March 18th, 2012. Lee Seung Gi perfectly interpreted the elegant demeanor of a soldier. He completely got rid of the usual “ruffian”, and was very serious throughout the filming, committed himself wholeheartedly into his role, his sparkling eyes made all crew members felt the pressure. Many viewers have praised Lee Seung Gi that although he is full of sense of ruffian, but he did not make people disgusting of him. His remarkable acting and charming comical performance fully demonstrates the characteristics of the Lee Jae Ha.
Drama producer said, “Lee Seung Gi is indeed a professional actor, fully prepared and completely immersed into the role of Lee Jae Ha. At times sincere and at times vibrant, bringing a lot of positive energy to the set, hope everybody can support him.”
