Rooftop Prince’s Ratings Rose to Meaningful 2-Digit Figure

The drama Rooftop Prince managed to increase its viewership ratings to a double-digit number.

According to statistics released by AGB Nielson media research agency on March 23th, 2012, the episode 2 of Rooftop Prince broadcast on March 22nd, 2012 recorded national average rating of 10.5%, an increase of 0.7% over premiere episode. With the hilarious plots staged by Lee Gak and his entourage who suddenly fell into modern era from Joseon Dynastry as the main storyline, leading to a rise in the ratings.

The day’s broadcast describes how Lee Gak (Micky Yoo Chun) and his entourage Song Man Bo (Lee Min Ho), Woo Yong Sul (Jung Suk Won) and Do Chi San (Choi Woo Sik) adapt to the life in modern reality. The 4 persons want to enter public place, that are discovered by police, want to eat in convenient store, but are locked in the detention center. After torturous detouring, they meet again with Park Ha. After hearing the alert tone of rice cooker, Lee Gak shout angrily, “Drag out the witch.” He shed sorrowful tears when seeing the 10,000 note which printed with the figure of King Sejong. The hilarious funny point is praised by audience.

Besides, the MBC’s The King Two Hearts and KBS 2TV’s Man From the Equator broadcast on the same time recorded the ratings of 16.5% and 8.1% respectively.
