Song Chang Ui & Han Hye Jin Kiss Raise Anticipation for Syndrome

The general programming service channel JTBC Monday and Tuesday drama series Syndrome managed to record average viewership ratings exceeding 2% in late March 2012, once again proving the saying that ‘medical drama will not fail.’

The episode 15 of Syndrome broadcast on April 2nd, 2012 scored the average rating of 2.245% (according to AGB Nielson based on subscribers in Seoul Metropolitan Area), retaining the first position among all TV programs excluding those broadcast on terrestrial TV stations.

The drama that broadcast on other general programming service channels on the same time slot, Channel A’s K-Pop – The Strongest Survival and TV Chosun’s Korean Peninsula, recorded the ratings of 0.292% and 1.224% respectively.

The rapid development of Syndrome’s plot, mysterious relationship between the characters and the vague love triangle between the three leading characters ensure the stable ratings.

In episode 15, the secret of Cha Tae Jin (Jo Jae Hyun) uses patients for clinical trial exposed. The father of Lee Hae Jo (Han Hye Jin) who is visually impaired is also revealed to be the victim of Cha Tae Jin. In the process, Cha Yeo Wook (Song Chang Ui) who is shocked and Kang Eun Hyun (Park Gun Hyung) who has the intention of revenge against her biological father Cha Tae Jin form an interesting parallelism.

In episode 16 of Syndrome broadcast on April 3rd, 2012, Yeo Wook and Hae Jo who confirm the hearts to each other are kissing, and the audience is curious on whether the love triangle is put to and end.
