Plot Summary

A sitcom about a family who moves in to the house of wife’s brother due to bankruptcy.

Synopsis

Ahn Nae Sang and Yoon Yoo Sun are middle aged husband and wife. They used to be rich until Ahn’s company went bankrupt. After Nae Sang’s business bankrupted, this couple moves in to live with Yoon Yoo Sun’s younger brother Yoon Kye Sang’s house, who is a health doctor, and the conflict starts. And, Yoon Yoo Sun who turns menopause becomes emotional unstable after the bankrupt of her husband’s company.

  • The contract worth 8.7 billion Korean won ($7.8 million USD) was signed between the production company, “Chorok Baem Media” (Green Snake Media), and MBC to produce 120 episodes of High Kick! 3, including VAX.
  • Casting was held from March through April, 2011.
  • Sequel (though story plot is independent) to original High Kick! (2007) and High Kick! 2 or High Kick Through the Roof (2009).
  • First scene was filmed in New Zealand on August 10, 2011 due to the time backdrop for the scene is in winter season (New Zealand is in winter at the time).
  • First shooting in South Korea taken place on August 17, 2011, at a massage parlor in Kangnam, Seoul. The scene involved a comedic chase scene.
